A Ball of Sound!

Tonight was the night for some challenges! After several dance and blocking rehearsals, tonight's practice focused mostly on singing. We separated into parts and started the rigors of harmony! I have to admit the music for the stage production is far more intricate than the movie of High School Musical, but we went undaunted into that black night. We went thru the Audition scene (a far larger number in the stage production than in the movie) and the music for "The Start of Something New" (which ends a as a choral number). After, the cast and I went thru scenes for Act I Scenes 6 and 7. Seven was the Audition Scene ( a logical choice, since we went thru the music) and Scene 6 was the "Ball of Sound"Scene... Lets just say its where the kids get detention... Ms. Darbus has some wild things in store...
